DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps  Platform Engineer responsible for building, evolving, and supporting secure and highly available Azure-based platforms that power modern, containerized applications. This role sits at the core of cloud delivery, combining infrastructure, automation, observability and DevOps practices to deliver resilient platforms that engineering teams can rely on.

From modernizing legacy systems to enabling cloud-native microservices, this position offers real influence over how platforms are designed, deployed, and operated at enterprise scale.

Key responsibilities

You will design and support platforms that enable a cloud-first strategy, including:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable Azure architectures.
• Building and operating container platforms and orchestration solutions in production environments.
• Supporting enterprise application architectures, including API gateways, high availability, load balancing and disaster recovery.
• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including production deployments.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
• Using configuration and dependency management tools to standardize environments.
• Integrating observability solutions to ensure platform reliability, performance and measurability.
• Applying DevOps practices to both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Supporting workload migrations between on-premises systems and cloud platforms.
• Re-architecting applications for cloud-native and containerized environments.
• Consulting with engineering teams to promote DevOps best practices and improve delivery maturity.
• Troubleshooting platform, infrastructure and application performance issues.

Technology scope

You are not expected to cover everything, but experience in several of the following is important:

• Microsoft Azure
• Containers and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes)
• CI/CD and release automation tools
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Configuration and dependency management
• Observability platforms (open source or commercial)
• Enterprise networking and on-premise infrastructure
